How we work.
The Trust supports a range of charitable causes each year, guided by the priorities set by our Trustees. Most of our grants are awarded for a one-year period. Our Trustees determine the overall budget and make the final decisions on how funds are allocated.
We aim to keep our administrative work and that of our supported charities as light as possible, so that the greatest share of our resources can go directly to the causes we care about. Whenever appropriate, we offer unrestricted grants, giving organisations the flexibility to use funds where they are most needed. We believe this approach helps reduce administrative burden and encourages flexibility and innovation in the work they do.
For organisations that have been approved for support, we encourage using the Trust’s grant as a way to attract matching funding. If you have been invited to apply, you’ll receive more details about this during the application process.
As a registered charity, we are only able to support activities that meet the legal definition of charitable purposes under the law of England and Wales. For further guidance, we recommend visiting the UK Charity Commission’s website.
At this time, we’re not able to accept unsolicited applications.
We kindly ask that you only apply if you have been invited to do so by the Trust.

Please note that we do not accept unsolicited applications.
